Maggie Hymowitz, MD
Dr. Maggie Hymowitz is a New York based ophthalmologist, educator, and mom. She has a passion for cookie decorating, the New York Yankees, and supporting women's health issues. She considers herself "germ conscious" which, with the help of her children's never-ending stuffy noses, inspired her to write this story. "Operation Achoo" is her first children's book, co-authored with her father. She lives in suburbs with her husband and two sons.
Samuel Hymowitz, DDS MS
Dr. Samuel Hymowitz is a retired periodontist and microbiologist. He has expertise in dealing with the challenges of germs and viruses in the environment and understands the importance of good hygiene habits. He looks forward to carrying the message of this book to the younger generation, just as he has for oral health in schools and organizations throughout his professional career. He resides in New York with his wife of 50 years.
